BLUBERRY PINEAPPLE CRUNCH CAKE RECIPE

1ea.         20 oz. can of crushed pineapple
3ea.         cups of fresh or frozen blueberries
1ea.         stick of melted butter
1ea.         cup of regular sugar (white)
1ea.         box of yellow cake mix
1 1/2ea.   cup of pecans/pieces

Directions as follows:

Lightly grease 9x13 inch pan.
Spread pineapple over bottom of pan.
Add layer of blueberries and top with 3/4 of the cup of sugar.
Add dry cake mix and spread over top of all ingredients.
Pour melted butter over spread out dry cake mix.
Add the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar over cake mix/butter.
Add pecans spread over top of all ingredients.

Bake in oven at 350 deg. F. for 25 minutes, then remove from oven.

Take wooden spoon handle and punch holes, randomly over entire surface of cake (approx 1 1/5 to 2 inches apart).

Return cake to the oven and cook until done (approx 30 to 40 additional minutes...check cake mix with toothpick to ensure cake is done).
