ARTICLE 14 SEC. 3
U.S. CONSTITUTION
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress,
or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or
military, under the United States, who having previously taken an oath, as a
member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of
any State Legislature, or as an executive of judicial officer of any State, to
support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in
insurrection or rebellion against the same or given
aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability
It is clear that any member of the Federal or State government can be
removed without impeachment, which is an arduous, long, drawn out process
requiring the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS to preside in the trial of the
Senate.
Should the republicans take the majority in the Senate (2014), I would
think Art 14 Sec 3 may be within grasp and a much simpler process than
impeachment.
Would not this be a viable option to rid this country of the Barry Soetoro
scourge?
This country may not survive 2 more years of the PRINCE of
FOOLS usurping the Presidency!
